Hello, my name is Colin and I have been involved in PBM for longer than I realised. People tried to shake me off, but, like a bad smell, I just kinda lingered.
I live on the Wirral, England, and have played mostly football PBMs for the past 20 years after having cut my teeth on the majority of KJC's computer moderated delights and Keys Of Bled.
Famous in my own head for bringing CRISIS! to the world.

Does Crisis still exist in any way shape or form either here or overseas??
Last I heard was that TimePatterns let it go to someone else about five years ago and that he was going to do something with it but I've never seen anything? Maybe Carol knows?

The software needed updating, and Ken was doing this when he fell ill. I managed to run the existing games to a conclusion, but various problems arose that I couldn't remedy. Yes, I did have someone (his name escapes me) who was hoping to continue the update, but I couldn't transfer his software solutions to my own machine.
Anyone who thinks that he could rewrite and relaunch the game is welcome to get in touch...
Carol
I might be able to rewrite and relaunch the game...

Then let's think about this. Get back to me when (& if) you think you can do it. The game will maybe seem a bit bare for the current market, but we can consider this - Carol

Great news!!
I have to agree that it's good news that this game could be resurrected.
However for those of us not around for it's first incarnation, and without the eyesight to read the 'PBM Ad from the Past', could someone give a brief rundown of the game?

Straight-forward enough - the nations of the world have to fight for victory. There's plenty of diplomacy required to achieve success!
