Would like to throw the idea out to the forum about asking current PBEM games to come and make their home here, it would be a win win situation as the games have a chance to reach out to potential new players and flagship may enjoy an influx in new subs.

I know probably most games have their own fourms or yahoo pages, but this takes time to moderate, perhaps a small incentive to the games to home here by way of some banner advertising on the forum.

just a thought.
Sure, they can do that, if they want to.
so does any member of the forum want to take up the position of contacting all the current GM and inviting them over?

This could well be a good idea but I'm not sure what level of take up would be likely.

For a variety of reasons I would expect GM's to prefer to have an independent solution despite the overhead in maintenance that this entails, in the case of a mailing list this overhead is minimal anyway.

What might be useful is to try and convince GM's to add a link to Flagship on their website or update one that already exists. I still see links to the old Flagship site (http://www.pbmgames.com/) - for example on the Madhouse website.
I am a GM and currently hang out here but have my own forums

Steve over at Madhouse has now fixed the link on Madhouse's website that pointed to the Flagship website, here.

There is now a separate Crane forum, though I was rather pleased when Flagship kindly administered one on the old FS website.

When I set up the forum pretty much the first thing I did was to include a link to Flagship. Silly not to in my opinion.
Right if some can make or give me a Flagship button or banner for my site than I will gladly host it on Briny and my other site for my mates CoD4 clan.

There was a thread started on this topic not long after the site was revitalised.
