thanks grimfinger,
i suppose the first question or topic to start would be what makes a game worth getting involved in? is it the story line? or the input from the GM?, what about the uniqeness of the game itself? or is it cost?
Myself personally, dont go much for the sci-fi games where you have to number crunch designs for your starships, starglobe was an exeption although those weird circle maps always confused me. However the simplicity of submitting an idea for say a single seat fighter and then being told how much it would cost and what materials and how long worked perfectly.
Currently involved in openwar at the moment, however feedback from GM is short sharp and sweet and sometimes not helpfull, however when he writes the newspaper with all the turn events, it certainly brings out a different side of things.
Hopefully this will generate a bit of discussion.
