Another person with a fantastic game that is stuck in the 80's with probably Clipper or Commodore code for programming.
I would like to know how you get on.
Do you intend to get it programmed?
It currently has NO programming
I hope to!

Dean Johnson here.
I am the current owner of WLTP. I bought it off Vengeance Games which was being run by Russ at that stage.
I have wanted to get WLTP programmed and running for years.
Getting it programmed is the problem and it needs it in this day and age.

Dean, do you still have a contact number/address/email for Russ, i want to contact with regards to WOV.

when did you use that address, recently?
Can anyone give a run down of the game?

Based on the Dune universe.
You run a Feudal House, with 10 characters, one order each, holding land/Eco sectors on one of the planets in the Empire.
Characters, 4 skill fields MIL ASS POL ECON
Family members, 2 skills, Retainers 1. Many actions/orders skills specific.
Each house can own up 10 Legions and 10 Frigates (spaceships), they start with one.
You can write 8 basic orders and 2 expanded.
Probably about 60 standard order in the rule book.
Sounds simple but the diplomacy is Fiendish.
Info sheets on everything. You can gain influence with the Emperor, family members, Organizatons, religons etc...
There is a market that you bid on to buy things. EVERYTHING has a price if you know WHO to talk to.
There used to be a pubmeet on the first(?) Friday of every month in London with 60 people drinking and making deals!
THe best game I have ever played!
It's why I bought it!
