1. I would suggest and encourage all site users who register to take the time to upload an avatar image, preferably a photo of themselves. Of course, if you are the paranoid type, then by all means, select an avatar image of a different type. Over time, I believe that user photos utilize as avatar images can help a given forum to become a community faster, while simultaneously adding a nice personal touch to said community.

2. In the user profile section, which is part of the User Control Panel (the User CP link), I would encourage and suggest that all registered site users list what location they are from, even if it is just your country or state.

3. Especially while these forums are new and virtually empty, I would encourage and suggest site visitors to register and to post messages in the forum. After all, that's the only way that we all get something new to read in these forums, when people take time to post. New forum categories can be created, if that is holding anyone back.

Feel free to post some suggestions of your own.

It is a Victorian home, with the Ghosts of a Victorian dressed couple that fades away and it also says "Penn" in the upper right corner. Just have a look to the left here. I also wish you would allow me to use my "Banner" of the same style too!

Yep. That's fine. It's just a matter of changing your signature in your user profile, I think.

Another signature suggestion: Hyperlinks don't work in the signature as they do in posts. There is no hyperlink button for the signature and trying to create one by cutting and pasting the link from a post into the signature doesn't appear to work, at least as the preview indicates, so you get a skeleton url instead of this:

Can you enable this function in signatures?

I changed a couple of settings. URLs for signatures should work, now (I think), if you do them using MyBB code (rather than HTML).

At least one other person already had a link working in their signature, though.

It would be nice to hear from owners of old PBM games that are interested in selling their games.
Any news from companies past or present would be useful for prospective game purchasers.
Not me personally but I do know someone who is actively looking to purchase PBM games.
