Harlequin Games is a business which designs and moderates postal and email games. We fuse wild imagination with good game-play in everything we produce and do so with professionalism and love for the hobby.

Established in 1994, Harlequin has quickly grown into one of the largest postal/email gaming firms in the world, and we look forward to maintaining a long and happy relationship with our players.
Not as yet.

I have been thinking about it for a while now but I am always a little daunted by the apparent complexity.

What is the best way to get a good beginners experience of the game and roughly when will another game start?
Yes I've played Legends for 10+ years through all four owners
and Harlequin Games is by far the best group of owners/GM's
I've had the pleasure of playing with/against.

The best way to jump into Legends is to join the new upcoming
TC4 game (Twilight Crusade game 4) the thing to remember is
not the complexity but how cut-throat a normal game can be.

The nice thing about TC4 is that it's a learning game and has
no victory conditions or factions and the GM's will be more
willing to help a player out with problems unlike a normal game.

Plus we have a large yahoo group list that you can ask game
and turn creation questions on that I guarantee will get a quick
turn around on.
I played it in the very early days and again for a while under Harlequin. Excellent game with the rules and map-making programme. Many different modules to suite different tastes. If you are into zero-sum power games with a definite end when one faction completes its victory conditions (and as the previous post points out its cut-throat) this is a game to recommend and certainly to try.
I play Legends since several years.
An excellent game.
I don't play anymore in any other game, but still enjoy Legends.
It's been a while since I've dealt with them but I remember them as extremely friendly and professional.

<note to myself> I must get back in touch.
