Speaking for myself I liked Tribes, Tribes II, and Helo. In the past I also played Force Recon, Half Life, and Ultimate. All are first person shooters and we use to have a server here at work that we ran them off. Oh the good old days!!!

Some of the DOS-based games were excellent. I especially liked supaplex.
There were a lot of good simulation-type games - a German Hanseatic League trading game called, if I remember right, Merchant Prince; one about railroad building; Civilisation; SimCity; one about colonising the New World; one about submarine warfare (sub66?); one called Carrier Command and many others. All of these were challenging and most were also educational. But - excuse the pun - they all went out the window when DOS was abandoned by MS Windows, and even those that could be played in Windows I didn't bother to get again.

Currently passing my time playing Company of heroes after having enough of X3 Reunion and Silent Hunter 4.
I stumbled across COH as a demo and decided to purchase it even though it has been around for well over a year.
I think they have a new game Company of Heroes - Opposing Fronts which is a standalone game and not an expansion.
Thoroughly enjoy the game, good strategy on the squad level.
Deciding on whether to purchase Call of Duty 4 for xbox 360. Had enough of Halo 3 and have gone back in time playing Grand Theft San Andreas of all things! I would like to see Championship Manager on the xbox 360 but I cannot see that ever happening.
I like all types of games but prefer real time strategy.
Used to play an awful lot of The Great Nordic War on my commodore. A very rare game if you can still find it.
No graphics just number crunching.
Also Elite, but who hasn't spent hours playing this game in the 80's?
